Connection between the Awliya Allah in the grave and the living leader of the Dergah (Gaddi Nasheen)

Sayyidi Sultan Ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Mohsin Munawar Yousafi have wrote in a biography book (Seerat e Nagina Rasool) about Grand Shaykh Muhammad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him).

Sayyidi Shaykh quotes Grand Shaykh (Muhammad Yousuf Ali Nagina [May Allah please with Him]) of Naqshbandi Mohsini Sufi Order that as the living Awliya Allah (Friend of Allah) provide guidance to the people, in the same way those who have departed from this world provide guidance to the people too. He further relates to His own experience that Himself met many times after their departed from this world, also gained spiritual blessings from especially two great personalities: Shaykh Shere Rabbani Mian Shere Mohammed Sharaqpuri and Shaykh Syed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani Alipuri (May Allah Please with them).

Grand Shaykh Muhmmad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) dedicated poetry form them as:

I give away my self to the lion of Muhammad, who have enlightened Sharaqpur,

I give away my self to Him who have made Awliyaa, Gouss and Qutb,

Heart of Ali and the Grandson of Muhammad, Alipuri Lathani is my Shaykh

Whenever I called Him in need, He is my Owner and He is the Saviour

It was the practice of Grand Shaykh Muhammad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) that H e paid homage at the shrine of Hazrat Shere Rabbani (May Allah Please with Him) before going to pay respect to Hazrat Mian Ghulam Ullah (May Allah Please with Him).

Ahmed Ali Quaid Sharaqpuri (May Allah Please with Him) stated an incident that Grand Shaykh Muhmmad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) once told Him with tears in His eyes that made Him shudder too. He narrated that Sayyidi Grand Shaykh had been paying respect to Shaykh Syed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani Alipuri (May Allah Please with Him) for the last fifteen years. Shaykh Syed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani never met him with a smile on his face. Grand Shaykh Muhammad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) stated that He use to go there, use to pay respect and eat blessed food from the dergah and then come back.

Ahmed Ali Quaid Sharaqpuri (May Allah Please with Him) stated that when Grand Shaykh Muhmmad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) went to Sharaqpur and paid visit at the Shrine of Shaykh Shere Rabbani Mian Shere Muhammed Sharaqpuri, He addressed Hazrat Sharaqpuri (May Allah Please with Him) in His heart that Hazrat Syed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani Alipuri (May Allah Please with Him), who was the living leader of the dergah (Gaddi Nasheen) had never greeted Him with a smile and always served Him lentils and chapati.

Grand Shaykh Muhmmad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) mentioned to Ahmed Ali Quaid Sharaqpuri (May Allah Please with Him) that when He went to dergah of Hazrat Syed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani Alipuri (May Allah Please with Him), He saw that Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah (May Allah Please with Him) was sitting in the same room where Hazrat e Sharaqpuri use to sit. Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah (May Allah Please with Him) greeted him and sat down. Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah (May Allah Please with Him) served Him with many different type of dishes. When He saw the dishes of so many different type of food He realised that Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani (May Allah Please with Him) was well aware of what was going on in His heart.

Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani (May Allah Please with Him) laid his hand on His shoulder and stated affectionately, ‘Why don’t you eat, you were telling to my brother at the shrine about this food, and yet, I have stopped smiling since my brother Mian Shere Muhammed (May Allah Please with Him) left this world for his heavenly abode. There is no excitement in my life anymore.’

Saying this Hazrat Sayed Jamaat Ali Shah Lathani (May Allah Please with Him) started crying. When Grand Shaykh Muhmmad Yousuf Ali Nagina (May Allah Please with Him) saw Him crying He could also not control and started to cry too and forgot about the food.

This incident clearly express that there is always a strong link between the Awliyaa Allah in the grave with the living leader (Gaddi Nasheen) of the degrah and in reverse the living leader of the dergah also have strong and special connection with the Awliya Allah in the grave.
