Hazrat Awais Qarni (May Allah Please with Him)

Hazrat Al Rabe’eh Bin Khetham (May Allah Please with Him) stated about Hazrat Awais Qarni’s (May Allah Please with Him) great engagement, Salat-ul-lael and worship. Once He visited Hazrat Awais Qarni (May Allah Please with Him and saw that He sat down to perform remembrance of Allah after offering the Fajar prayer. He felt better not to interrupt Hazrat Awais Qarni’s (May Allah Please with Him) daily practice of performing remembrance of Allah by meeting him suddenly, so He thought He should wait for Hazrat Awais Qarni (May Allah Please with Him) to complete His remembrance (Zikr). It so happened that the time of Zuhur prayer arrived, and He offered Zuhur prayer and then again got engaged in extra prayers (Nawafil) till Asr prayer and then offered Maghrib prayer and Isha prayer. After performing Isha prayer, He kept praying till Fajar prayer.

He used to stand praying the whole night and when his shadow fell it seemed that there was a pillar standing in the house. Now He has demise so that is why you will not see the pillar anymore.’
