According to Sayyidi Sultan Ul Awliyaa Shaykh Muhammad Mohsin Munawar Yousafi in His blessed speech that Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) is the honour and endearment of the whole universe. This universe is only because of the existence of Beloved Prophet (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) of Allah. Every Prophet and Messenger of Allah gave the gratifying news about the arrival of the Beloved of Allah Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him). It is the greatest favour of Allah that He granted this opportunity to the Muslims to be the followers of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him).
Allah says in the Holy Quran,
لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اِذْ بَعَثَ فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا
Allah has indeed bestowed a great favour upon the Muslims, in that He sent to them a Noble Messenger (Prophet Mohammed (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) from among them, (Al Quran 03:164)
Sayyidi Shaykh stated that Allah has bestowed abundance of blessings upon the believers: heavens, earth, sun, moon, stars, physical human body etc; in fact, there are thousands and millions of more blessings that we cannot even count. For entire abundances,
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
مَتاَع الدُّ نیا اِلاَّقَلْیِلُ
“Oh Beloved, say that (the millions and billions) of blessings are very little” (Al Quran 04:77)
After bestowing countless blessings, Allah is saying that they are very little and does not concede to the conferring of the favours. However, when Allah sent His Beloved, the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) ], in the world, Allah mentioned that He has obliged mankind believers by sending His Beloved among them.
The Reward of the Recitation of Blessed Darood
It is mentioned in blessed Hadith that if a person recites blessed Darood once, Allah Almighty sends ten blessings on him, and ten good deeds are written in his register of deeds (nama-e-amal) and ten sins are forgiven. The angels will send blessed Darood on the person who writes the blessed Darood and also note down his good deeds as long as the writing remains intact.
